”Beavers are valuable ecosystem engineers
that have gotten a bad reputation in the past. Bird Conservancy of the
Rockies Private Land Wildlife Biologist, Kelsea Holloway, has spent the
last five years working along the lower South Platte observing how
beavers are making a difference on the river. In her presentation she
will discuss the benefits of beavers, why they have peaked her interest
and how she is working with them to create higher quality habitat for
wildlife.
Kelsea Holloway as a Private Lands Wildlife Biologist with Bird
Conservancy of the Rockies, assists multiple counties in northeast
Colorado with property management for wildlife and wetland restoration."
Audubon members, the public--all are welcomed to join into this virtual program!
