I was there and saw the Slaty-backed Gull  with a mixed group of gulls on the ice around noon.  There was also a couple of early American Avocets at the north end.

I also heard that the Slaty-backed Gull was located again this evening on the south end of the lake.

The adult Slaty-backed Gull was studied by several observers at the south end of Boyd Lake after 4:30 pm today. It was still present at 6:30 pm when I left. Telescope is needed here. Best to hike to southwest shoreline after parking at Seven Lakes Park or Allendale Park. These are neighborhood parks located south of the State Park. Here is a link to my stationary eBird checklist from the southwest mudflat.
