Hi all
Weld CR 114/45 had two Chestnut-collared Longspur. Badger crossed my path on Hwy 85/Weld CR 120.
Chalk Bluffs Road had a plethora of both species--literally at your feet (immatures).
Chestnut-collared Longspur - 10+
McCown's Longspur - 50+ (often time large groups just lounging on the road)
Brewer's Sparrow
Blue Grosbeak
Grasshopper Sparrow (many)
Lark Bunting (loads of)
Probably lead my postponed trip to there next Saturday-keep watching.
Thanks
Gary Lefko, Nunn
