Cassin’s finch ID confirmation

Hi CO birders,

I’m hoping to get some feedback on the photos I took of what I thought were Cassin’s finches nearly a month ago on Higbee Valley Rd. Another birder reported them there the same day without photos and his observation was confirmed by the reviewer that day. My photos remain unconfirmed. Did I mistake house finches for Cassin’s? The photos are distant and cropped. See the eBird checklist here:

Hi Jenny,

That looks like a Cassin’s Finch to me even from a distance. The crown and facial pattern is pretty diagnostic.
