Sabine's Gull at Chico Basin Ranch, El Paso County

At 11:45 this morning I saw an adult Sabines Gull flying over Headquarters Pond. I watched him for about 3 minutes until he left and headed south. The bird was unmistakable with striking black and white wing pattern and white tail. There have been several reports of Sabine’s Gull at Big Johnson’s reservoir and I wonder if this is one of those birds.
