A site I visit frequently along the South Platte in Brighton had a Greater Yellowlegs, lots of Snowy Egrets, a multitude of House Wrens, and a single Myrtle Yellow-rumped Warbler (which sang just once) yesterday. Seven days previous it had none of these, but did have Cliff, Tree, and even 2 Bank Swallows. The Tree Swallows were in courtship mode this week, a distinct change from the previous observation.

Notably late, I'm used to seeing Yellow-headed Blackbirds in the area before the House Wrens and any warblers, and they have not arrived yet.

Other highlights include 2 Swainson's Hawk pairs actively building (and defending) nest sites.
