The most interesting thing about today was the number of one-of-a-kinds. Only banded 14, yet had 10 species, 8 of which were warblers:
House Wrens 5
Gray Catbird 1
Orange-crowned Warbler 1
Yellow Warbler 1
Yellow-rumped Warbler (Audubon's) 1 (FOS, surprisingly. We've seen flocks high up numerous times. Don't know what brought this one individual down to our nets.)
Northern Waterthrush 1
MacGillivray's Warbler 1
Common Yellowthroat 1
Wilson's Warbler 1
Yellow-breasted Chat 1 new, 1 banded in 2011!
Open daily, weather permitting, through the end of May, from about 7 to 11 a.m.
