My partner, Sheila McCarthy, and I did not arrive to my Silverthorne townhome until mid-afternoon and were not able to go for a walk around the adjacent area until later in the day. But, we did have a nice birding experience starting with finding an American Dipper’s nest. In addition to one adult, there were at least 2 nestlings (a couple of pics on eBird report). We also had three hummer species: Broad-tailed, Rufous and Calliope (pics on eBird). We look right out at the long time Osprey nest across from Eagle Dr. which has 2 immature birds in addition to the two adults.

Some of the other species we had included Cordilleran Flycatcher, Cliff Swallow, Mountain Chickadee, Cassin’s Finch and lots of Pine Siskins. Full report posted to eBird along with a few photos.
