Hi Everyone,

This morning 3/17 I drove out to Merino to look for the Eurasian Wigeon mentioned in yesterday's bird alert. It's still in the farm pond at mile marker 393 on US-6, just northeast of town. I spoke to the landowners' son, who let me know that three birders drove into private property without permission yesterday in order to get closer views, and in the process, caused much distress. Please, please, please view the bird from US-6 and do not drive into the driveway!
