“Virginia Rose is the founder of Birdability. In 1973 at age 14, she was paralyzed in a horseback-riding accident and has used a manual wheelchair ever since. Twenty years ago she discovered birding and life changed. Seeing no other disabled people birding, she decided to find them and introduce them to birding. In her talk she will discuss the Difficulties, the Joys, the Birdability Map and the steps she took—and steps you can take—to make birding for everybody and every body!”
