I saw one of the Broad-winged Hawks today at the Sanitas trailhead (Sighned as the Centennial trailhead)at around 7:30. It was flying low in a easterly direction. Shortly afterwords I heard another. Along the trail its self I encountered several Spotted Towhees, including some youngster, which was fun to watch.
