Hi all
This morning, 4 Marbled Godwit .3m on Weld CR 13 north of intersection of Weld CR 86 and Weld CR 13 in large playa/pond on east. This playa/pond has breached its banks with recent rains and has nice flooded fields around it as well. Also, had lots of Wilson's Phalaropes, some American Avocets, and a few "peeps" too far away to ID on east side of playa/pond.
Other items of note:
- Walked Greeley's Poudre River Trail from Island Grove to 25th St (2.0 miles)--got 40 species nothing uncommon
- My Nunn yard had banner day over weekend for "sparrow" family species (12): Green-tailed and Spotted Towhee, Vesper (lots), Chipping (lots), Clay-colored (lots), Brewer's (lots), Lark (lots), Lincoln's, White-crowned (lots), and Grasshopper Sparrow, Dark-eyed Junco and Lark Bunting
- Wilson's Snipe displaying (video) [Beebe Draw]
- Fledged Killdeer chick (early?) [Weld CR 84 Marsh]
- All photos from weekend [first 42 photos]
Thanks Gary Lefko, Nunn
