At little bit ago, I was working on yesterday's results for the Pueblo County Spring Count on my computer, when I heard a warbler chip in the front yard. Since I had the window open I heard it, and I was surprised to see a male Black-throated Gray Warbler, a new yard bird for me here in Pueblo West. Van and I didn't see one of these yesterday in Pueblo County on our Bird Day either, though I know one was found. It appears Pueblo County broke a record for a single day count for the Spring Count. Over 200 species were found my participants of the Pueblo County Spring Count. Good job to all the people who were able to help. I haven't seen all the lists yet, so I don't know the exact species total.
