Mirants 9/12 Lakewood/Jeffco

Yesterday, I decided to bird Belmar Historic Park once the drizzle and storm were on their way out.  Belmar was pretty quiet except for a Loggerhead Shrike (first for the park), and a large flock of birds that had Wilson's(many), Townsend's(3), Yellow-rumps, Warbling Vireo, and Chipping Sparrows.  I decided to watch my small suburban yard between 2p-4p.  The yard was extremely active now that the front had moved on.  I'm curious how the birding will be behind the front.  Here is the list of some of the 24 species seen during this brief period:

Red-breasted Nuthatch--4

Mountain Chickadee

Green-tailed Towhee

Black-chinned Hummingbird(many including a few males)

Broad-tailed Hummingbird(Many including a couple of males)

Red-wing Blackbird-4

Western Scrub Jay--4
