Small Owls/Larimer

A Northern Saw-whet Owl calls incessantly every evening from just north of our property line.  This is an area of several acres that did not burn in the High Park Fire.  Last night at dusk, a Northern Pygmy Owl joined in and both owls were calling.  Music to my soul!

 

90% of our property burned, which left them nowhere suitable for courtship or any other activity.  Now, all I have to do is go out on our north porch at dark and get my owl fix!
