Missed the golden-winged warbler along S. Boulder Creek, but checked the wet meadows around the Parks and Open Space HQs along Cherry Vale and spotted a male bobolink on the east side of Cherry Vale opposite the HQ entrance at 3:50 p.m. Besides this first of the year, there was a roosting nighthawk in the area where the warbler should have been.
