Just now male EATO in Russian olive grove just down from parking area and then walk back toward the road. Pure bird, not hybrid.

I know it would be extremely unlikely, and I am hesitant to say, but at one point it sounded like I had two Eastern Towhees calling back and forth from different bushes!!  I only saw one bird (though saw it three different times with a break inbetween, so am only assuming it was hte same bird each time), so most likely only one... but if anyone sees two let me know!!

I should also mention for anyone that is thinking about trying to find this bird that Banner Lakes SWA is only open on Saturdays through Monday and closed Tues-Fri..  It is a hunting area, so you may encounter hunters.  And the Rangers are more than happy to give tickets if they find you there when it is closed.

Better directions - From the parking lot walk due East across the field and you will see a grove of Russian Olive Trees.  The bird was to the south, toward the road, in the Russian Olives (along with MANY robins).  A map of how to get there at: https://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&t=p&z=13&q=40.0738353,-104.5650387&ll=40.0738353,-104.5650387
