Hi cobirders. Bluejays and Scrub Jaya have been coming for weeks. One day 5 Bluejays came for peanuts. 2 adults and 3 young ones now full grown with bright plumage.
On another day 2 Scrub Jays came. First time I saw 2 at same time. They put put on quite show for peanuts.
Started feeding late his year Monday October 27 with the cleaned cage feeder with sunflower seeds and a roofed tray feeder between kitchen window and the Chokecherry tree.
Wednesday Oct.29 besides the usual a Warbling Vireo and a Vesper Sparrow both first for the yard! Friday there was a Spotted Towhee and a House Finch with much red on head and
breast.
