Hi all,

I have heard from a few compilers of Colorado Christmas Bird Counts about the 2020-21 status of their Christmas Bird Count.

I've heard Pueblo Reservoir CBC and Weldona-Fort Morgan CBC compilers, saying they plan to run their Christmas Bird Counts this winter. Pueblo Reservoir CBC is on Dec 19. Since we don't have many people on the Pueblo CBC, we'll likely have it for the usual Pueblo area birders.

I've also heard Denver, Flagler, and Sterling will NOT occur this winter.

Hopefully between Nov 1-30, I will hear from all the compilers, to find out if their CBC will happen or not. The counts that are going on, are from Dec 14, 2020 to January 5, 2021. Please email me by the end of November, to let me know if any decision has been made about your CBC. Compilers can enter their date on the CBC Website, at any time.

At present we plan to hold Denver Urban & Black Forest counts. Each will allow participants only by invitation from the area leader.
