Buff-breasted Sandpipers-Timnath Res-Larimer County

All,

Thanks to all who took the time to email me in support of the Ruff ID.  Greatly appreciated!  No Ruff today at Timnath but in the very same puddle the Ruff was in yesterday were 2 Buff-breasted Sandpipers.  I was able to get Brendan Beers on the birds and he took a bunch of photos that will be uploaded to the checklist later.  Jim N and Nick K also showed and were able to get on the birds.  I was able to study these birds in much better viewing conditions.  It provided me even more assurance on the Ruff.  They just look so different to me.  Lots of birds at Timnath this afternoon.
