to Colorado Birds
Banding began with a rain delay but not many birds ventured to the banding station grove of trees this day. I heard from birders that the birds were down at HQ pond willows including many Yellow-rumped Warblers. Water does tend to attract more birds. First of the season bird was the Brown Thrasher.

The Banding Station will be operating this week everyday through Saturday from sunrise to @11:00AM. Stop on by if you are in the area.
