Thanks, Nick. Also note the yellow (under chin) wraps around the black mask behind cheek. That and the more olive colored back were my primary clues to ID.
You ask if others have seen them - yes, a photographer friend got a pic of one at Walden Ponds in Boulder, about two weeks ago.

Found 5/31 along the Big Dry Creek Trail approx 100 yds north of the Metzger Farm trail intersection. First time I've see one in this area (over 5 yrs).
