Top Ten Toughest NA Birds for the Life List

I am in the process of writing a memoir. One Chapter will be on life listing in North America and I am wondering if anyone knows of any ABA or Audubon list of NA toughest.  I suspect there will be some Colorado Birds on that list and if you know of such lists, please forward me a link. Thanks.
