Arapahoe Co.: Gulls at South Platte Reservoir

Hi all,

At least 2 Glaucous, 1 Lesser Black-backed, and 1 Thayer’s among Ring-billeds and Herrings on the Arapahoe side of South Platte Reservoir.

2 Long-tailed Ducks still present, as well. JeffCo is currently 100% frozen.

Thanks Michael for the post on the 2 Glaucous Gulls. Still here at South Platte Reservoir from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM. They flew far east at 8:30 AM here on the morning of the 2/17. They were in the far NE corner of the Reservoir. The 2 Long-tailed Ducks were in the SW part of the Reservoir next to the ice.
