I went to Grandview Cemetery yesterday evening and this morning. Things were very lively around a couple of the hackberry trees that Dave Leatherman has posted about so many times. The only warblers I spotted were Orange-crowned, but there were Ruby-crowned Kinglets, lots of Chickadees (including Mountain), lots of Red-breasted Nuthatches, and (this morning) a small group of Bushtits. As near as I can tell, the psyllids are hatching. I'm not posting because I saw anything terribly unusual, but rather to encourage other birders to visit the Cemetery and check those hackberries that attracted several unusual warblers last October.
