After three gray, rainy days, it was nice to be back out, even if we still have very few birds in our nets. There is a lot more singing and calling going on, so perhaps things will improve soon. We had our first flycatchers of the season today; they are about a week late. We also continue to have this pattern of mostly one-of-a-kind captures. Here are today's 12 new birds:

We are open six days per week (closed Tuesdays) through May 30, weather permitting. While some COVID related restrictions remain in place, there are opportunities most mornings for the public to visit, but reservations are required.
