Red Crossbills on the Big Thompson (Larimer)

I've had about a dozen Red Crossbills at my tray feeder the last couple days. Several males & females. What a wonderful site! We are at about 5600 feet right on the river in the lower canyon.

Crossbills have been coming to my feeder every day since I first noted them on 4/11. They are eating medium sunflower chips.
