I was going to check this out this morning. What’s the protocol with this bird. Do we need to alert a homeowner that we’re looking? It’s been seen in the alley, you say?

It's visible from the streets or alleys in the neighborhood. You best bet is to listen for the song and then look for the bird. Use common sense and don't go into any backyards.
