I got a little behind posting the banding reports. Last week we were still banding the same numbers as before (10-15 banded), but this week with the drop in temperature and increase in wind has led to a drop in numbers.
On 10/8, we banded 11, recaptured 4, and caught one Gambel's White-crowned Sparrow from a previous year; on 10/9 we banded 11 and recaptured 2; on 10/10 we banded 16 and recaptured 5; on 10/13 we banded 7 and recaptured 1; and today (10/14) we banded 4 and recaptured 4.
