CFO statement on COVID-19 (novel coronavirus)

The CFO Board of Directors recognizes the gravity of COVID-19. While we are optimistic that the current emergency declaration will curb transmission in time for us to go forward with our convention May 7-11, we are also realistic that transmission may continue through the month of May. Social distancing is the key to curbing the epidemic. We all must do our part to protect our most vulnerable loved ones. The best way to do this is to avoid public places, whether you are ill or not. The CFO board will meet April 4 to discuss contingencies regarding upcoming scheduled events, including the convention. Rest assured that any payments made to CFO will be reimbursed in the event of cancellations.
