While walking with my trusty dog, Scooter, this morning at Lathrop State Park we saw a Green Heron at the small wildlife ponds behind Horseshoe Lake.
Yesterday, while at our cabin at Forbes Park in Costilla County we found a slate-colored Fox Sparrow.

Steve Jones and I saw Polly's Green Heron at Lathrop State Park at the wildlife viewing pond between Martin and Horseshoe Lakes on Thursday June 5.
