A futile search for the palm warbler along the access road to South Platte Reservoir was not without some reward.  Near the gate (where the Tropical Kingbird used to hang out) a thicket on the east side of the road yielded a female plumaged Purple Finch.  The thicket also harbors House Finches.  Photos are here:  https://ebird.org/view/checklist/S50282197
 Good luck.

We were able to re-find the Purple Finch at about 10:30 this morning, along the access road. She was in bushes near the RPM building, and was affiliated with two Song Sparrows.
