CFO Members can read the spring digital edition of Colorado Birds on the CFO website starting today, and the print version will mail this week. Highlights include tips for identifying large shorebirds in the field, how Pine Siskins feed on the seeds of the Catalpa tree, learning to identify sparrows by ear and much, much more.

You'll learn about the newest addition to Colorado's official list, maintained by CFO's Colorado Bird Records Committee, bringing the state's total to 514 species. Speaking of sightings, you'll be treated to not one but TWO editions of News From The Field thanks to some extra effort from our esteemed compiler, Dean Shoup.
