We just did a Little Sit! in our driveway in order to count flocks of cranes. 2:30-3:45 pm.

We estimate 680 Sandhills in 7 flocks. Headed SWly towards east Castle Rock & Larkspur.

Also an Osprey, perched in a dead pine on the cliff above the house, devouring a very large fish.

Total species count, around 12.

I'll report on The Big Sit! at our house tomorrow.
