a Colorado Birds
This afternoon, I decided to check out Bear Creek Lake around Soda Lake.  It was very birdy with 39 species in only an hour.  It felt like it was the peak of migration instead of the very end.  The best bird was a Nashville Warbler feeding on the aphids low in the wild plum.  When I reached for my camera I lost sight of the bird and was unable to locate it again. Other birds seen were:
Western Wood-Peewee---13(probably more)
Least Flycatcher----1
Dusky Flycatcher--1
Cordilleran Flycatcher---1
Western Kingbird---1
Warbling Vireo---1
Gray Catbird--1
Cedar Waxwing--8
Nashville Warbler---1
Yellow-rumped Warbler--only 2
Wilson's Warbler--1(very vocal)
Chipping Sparrow--3
Lincoln's Sparrow--1
Western Tanager--16(probably more)
Lazuli Bunting--2
Bullock's Oriole--11
Pine Siskin--5
