El Paso county --- Surf Scoters

COBirders,

Made a quick stop at Big Johnson reservoir and saw three SURF SCOTERs loafing amongst the thousands of birds on the water.  The only other noteworthy things were the numbers of CANVASBACK seems to have increased, the number of WESTERN GREBEs fell off from 125 the other day to probably less than 30.  Still a handful of FRANKLIN'S GULLs but not much else.
