Scarlet Tanager Male at Home Lake SWA

Last year on May 5, I spotted and photographed a male Scarlet Tanager at Home Lake SWA (Rio Grande Cty). Today, a year later, there was another one, a male in the willow trees on the side of Home Lake, about 100 yards from last years sighting. Todays bird is the 7th scarlet tanager record in my 40 years of record keeping for the San Luis valley. 

Then the winds came and...time to garden....
