Stephany McNew and I birded around Pueblo this morning.  We walked from Snakeskin Picnic Area to Valco Ponds parking lot and back.  Highlights: a Black Phoebe, one adult Mew Gull, and two Greater Scaup.  Also Yellow-rumped Warblers, Ruby-crowned Kinglets, among others.

At the South Shore Marina, the adult Great Black-backed Gull, adult Lesser Black-backed Gull, Double-crested Cormorants were present.  On the water, two Common Loons, Western Grebes, a Horned Grebe, three Greater Scaup.

Good birding,

I forgot, on the way back west of Valco Ponds parking lot, we saw three White-throated Swifts.
