The morning was pleasant to be outside early. By 1000 AM the winds grew increasingly stronger. We managed to catch 12 bird species including another unbounded American Robin. Just when we think we have banded all the resident robins, we caught another one today. this past week we have had another influx of Hermit Thrushes. The weather and migration patterns this season seem odd. Hopefully it is not the "new" normal.
