First thing this morning Sondra and I spent over an hour listening to the Grace's Warbler call from trees all around the location well described by Christian Nunes. We occasionally caught glimpses of a bird stealthily fly from one calling location to the other. Sondra eventually caught the bird in flight through her bins well enough to ID. Not willing to give up on the bird, I went back after work, and around 6pm, after a bit of similar experience, suddenly noticed a bird on the ground not far from the large cottonwood tree and close to where I was standing. I was able to get excellent looks at the Grace’s Warbler while it appeared to be ground feeding for about half a minute. So, for the novice birder like myself, I recommend patience, persistence, and don’t look for the bird only at the top of the surrounding trees.

Grace's Warbler continues (6/7) in the area previously described at Eldorado Mtn Open Space between the cement wall and footbridge.
