Bird seen on island (easternmost) in Sand Creek near bridge by parking lot at end of Smith Road when driving west from Havana, 5 p.m. tonite, sunday. Smith Rd. Trailhead. 7 observers on the south side of creek got good looks. Bird hopped up from lower in the bushes to mid-tree for about 10 minutes before moving back down.
