COBirders,

Yesterday there was a report on this forum of an unusually large number of MODOs visiting a back yard in Jeffco. The report suggested that Mourning Doves are normally somewhat numerous in Southern Colorado at this time of year. Over a decade ago that would have been the case but since then MODOs have been increasingly scarce in our area of the state in the winter.
