COBirders--  Last Saturday’s Custer County CBC produced an interesting sighting of a Gray-crowned Rosy-finch with bands on each leg, bird nicely photographed by Jim Thompson of La Junta.  We wonder if any Colorado bird-banders have records for this species.

The folks at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and at the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies have a project going to band rosy-finches.  They would probably like to see the pictures Jim Thompson got.
