Dear concerned,

I have an experiment (mrashid2-291681) running on c6525-25g machines. In this experiment, I am unable to access a subset of machines. All the machines that have this pattern: amd1XX.utah.cloudlab.us (i.e. the machine ID start with 1) are inaccessible.

Can you kindly look at this issue? Let me know if you need further information.

Best regards,
Md Hasanur Rashid

Hi,

I had no difficulties SSHing to all of the nodes in your experiment, even the amd1XX nodes.  I'm also able to ping your nodes externally.  Can you elaborate on what you mean by "unable to access"?  Are your SSH connections timing out, or are your credentials being refused?

Best,

Hi Aleks,

I am able to access it now without any issue. I don't know why it happened out of nowhere. Thank you for your prompt response.

Best,
Hasan

Glad to hear that!  Sometimes there are temporary network blips either upstream of us or downstream of our users that we can't control, and that's probably what happened here.
