Creating 'aligntext' dropdwon similar to gmail editor

Hi , I am playing around with closure editor example which has alignment like below.

Any help regarding how to create drop down kind of alignment similar to gmail browser client as shown below? I am I am trying to create a menu ,since Menu accepts only menuitems, I am unable to add the individual buttons to menu.

The Toolbar code accepts any subclass of `goog.ui.Control` (https://github.com/google/closure-library/blob/9f06cf043fa4c450fdf3dbcab13c68a6b762bbc0/closure/goog/ui/editor/defaulttoolbar.js#L295-L296) - these controls can be MenuButtons (https://github.com/google/closure-library/blob/6342251d591d45b501dee07cbbdc605f22f73bcd/closure/goog/ui/menubutton.js#L70) and that might acheieve the desired effect.
