Fascinating website at http://www.shipais.com/
My interest in the site was prompted by a recent message from my Land's End-based linguistic & marketing assistant, who, while walking her dogs, spotted "something strange on the horizon which looked like a cross between a tall ship (but with 3 thick vertical masts) & a huge tanker (but with 3 very tall, though thin chimneys)", which turned out to be a wind turbine installation vessel on the move. See screenshot below.

PS:
I note that the destination is Robin Rigg, which is already operational (see here), so presumably the extension referred to here is going ahead?

Looks like a large jack-up vessel. The vertical posts/masts are the jack up legs. The wind turbine sections would normally be stored horizontally or be delivered by a separate barge

Thanks for the info.
The website at http://www.shipais.com/ is quite fascinating. You
can see how amazingly busy the English Channel is, for example.
