Sacred Harp singing this Wed. evening

Hello Everyone,

Along with our monthly Sunday afternoon singing we are adding a monthly fourth Wednesday evening singing.  Come sing with us this Wednesday, Sept. 24, from 7 to 9pm.

We will meet at Debbie Hall's house in Mt. Lookout.  Her address is 1111 Delta Ave, 45208, at the corner of Delta and Willis.  Park on Willis and come to the back door.  Debbie's house has a good space for singing, we have sung there many times.

I hope you can join us. This is our first singing at this new time.  Let's get off  to a good start!

The Cincinnati Camerata is singing a set from the Sacred Harp at our December concert! Ben Owen, who you might have met at the Ohio Convention in Columbus, is the director. Here’s the info if you’d like to attend:

December 13, 2 PM, Hyde Park Community UMC

December 14, 3 PM, St. Catharine of Siena, Westwood

It’s free but there’s an optional suggested donation. We’d love to see you there.

Neat!  AGES ago, I first learned of the Camerata, in 2001, when Chris Miller came to the Yellow Springs singing because the group was going to do a Sacred Harp tune and he wanted to learn more about it -- I ended up auditioning and was in the group for 2 seasons. The tune we did was "Sherburne", a Christmas text.   I have the Dec. 14 concert in my planner!

Sorry to have missed.  I was on a 3day mother daughter get away.  Visited 4 different beaches on Lake Erie hunting sea glass.
