Hello!  I was looking through the forum trying to find if there has been any movement on this issue, but has anyone been able to figure out the very scary privacy message that shows up when a managed session starts?  This is the problem:

"sacramento.ca-library.org manages this device and has access to all user activity, including webpages visited, passwords, and email"

Wow, this is going to create a lot of problems for us if we decide to use the managed sessions.  I have turned off all reporting that I can find.  How do we make it so that this warning is gone?

Any advice would be great!

Thanks!
Tam

I have not seen anything yet on that, supposedly they are still working on it.  We use LibData to manage public computers, and it is annoying, but by now most everyone just ignores it.  All I want is to be able to customize the message and inform people that they are on a public workstation.

I think the warning is still there but the wording may have changed a little.  Last I heard it was still in development as an enhancement request, but now every time I log in to management console things look so different that I am afraid to touch anything.

I reached out to Google support via my admin console. I will let y'all know what the current response is.

Update from Google: "As of the moment, there is an active feature request that our Product Engineers are working on to make your request possible as there are other clients who want this option to disable the message. I will attach your case to the current feature request so you will receive an email with a link for updates."

At the moment, I disabled all extensions that I had installed and this seemed to make the message go away. As a work around, I was able to pin links on the ChromeOS taskbar rather than installing apps/extensions e.g. instead of downloading the Zoom app, I pinned a link to https://zoom.us/ on the taskbar (in Apps & Extensions choose "add by URL" instead of "add from Chrome webstore).
