Actively developing an app

Hi,

Is there anyone currently developing an app using CB?

I keep running into different problems trying to get stuff to work and understanding the odds and ends of CB.

It would be really helpful to be able to ask someone simple questions and get suggestions, in semi-real time.

I'd be happy to collaborate and help out when I can.

Hi Leonid,

The most active one-on-one live answers you can get are probably in IRC on freenode.net in the channel #chicagoboss.

There are a indeed a handful of folks all running CB in production as well as developing new apps (the most recent announcement was erlangcms.com).

But anything you're encountering that even smells ever-so-slightly as a bug, feel free to post a github issue.  Anything confusing to one new user is probably confusing to *other* new users and indicates that either a bug needs to be fixed, an API needs to be improved, or documentation needs to be better. Further, there are 100+ watchers on the CB repo in github, so you're able to tap the knowledge any any of those users who might get email notifications from GH issues.

I hope that helps you a bit.  I'm heavy into the "Fix the serious game-breaking bugs" mode right now as well as things to try and fix usability issues, so *WANT* to feel your pain.

Thanks for replying Jesse.

I did get a lot of really good feedback. I'll try to keep a list of CB questions that I had and their answers,

and then try to add it to the wiki later. Unless people think that there's a better destination.
