Adepticon in Milwaukee next year

Not surprising considering how crowded it was this year. Not thrilled that they're moving to Milwaukee. It gets a lot more expensive for local Chicagoans, like me, to attend. Taking a quick look at downtown Milwaukee hotels, they're around $200/night. Outlying hotels are less, but you need drive downtown and pay for parking.

I'll either be attending for one day or going every other year. I might alternate with GenCon because both conventions are now roughly the same cost for me.

Yeah, it is impossible to book the hotels around the convention at the moment (all priced between $500 and $1900 a night).

I will likely try to swing one night.

Yeah I will figure something out. Adepticon has always been my favorite convention. Honestly gencon is starting to price itself out of my budget. Would rather just have someone do ninja shopping for me and save the gas/hotel/badge money.

I am planning on attending adepticon 2025 and see what the options are before getting worked up about it. It had to happen. Nowhere in Illinois is big enough without being overly expensive for both the convention and the attendees.
